Hand-turned Bowls & Platters

There is something special about holding and serving from hand-turned wooden bowls and platters. Whether it's holding fruit, salad or just your attention, hand-turned wooden bowls and platters are a joy to make, hold, and to use. Before the Covid lock-down, our bowls and platters were sent or carried to dozens of overseas countries. They were often wedding gifts, or keepsake memories of their trip to New Zealand. Now with the borders more or less closed, people living in New Zealand are finding these unique items make a great gift or feature on the dining table. All our wooden bowls and platters are hand-turned by Ron, and unless stated otherwise, are finished with Tung oil (food-safe). They can be washed or wiped clean, then dried with tea towel after use. Never wash wooden bowls or platters in a dishwasher, nor heat them in a microwave.
