About Our Hand-Turned Items

All our hand-turned bowls, platters, kitchenware and curios are finished with Tung oil and Wax.

Care Instructions

These items are made from natural wood and will last for many years with simple care:

• Do not put them in a dishwasher or microwave

• Do not soak them in water

• After washing, dry thoroughly with a tea towel and then leave on the bench to air-dry completely (wood can still hold moisture in the pores after tea towel-drying)

Decorative & Display / Functional pieces (especially those with bark, live edges or inclusions)
Wipe with a damp cloth only. Take extra care around bark and inclusions so they are not dislodged.

Utility-ware
Wash with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Avoid scrubbing brushes, as they can leave scratch marks.

Re-oiling
Your item should not need re-oiling if washed and dried correctly.
