From 8 September, all of NZ (apart from Auckland) will be at Delta Level 2 until further notice. 

At Delta Level 2, while practicing Social Distancing, etc, we can meet with you at your home, or at RoNZ Furniture Hospital in Dannevirke, to discuss in person, over the phone, or by email, what you would like done. Contactless Pick-up and Delivery of your furniture is possible.

Once we move to Delta Level 1we will all be able to operate with fewer restrictions. 

Wooden Furniture Repair and Restoration Services

Based in Dannevirke, our furniture repair and restoration services are available throughout the lower North Island. 

We specialise in the repair and restoration of solid-wood freestanding modern and antique furniture, including chairs, tables, beds, dressers, hutches, art objects, boxes and chests. Many of the wooden furniture pieces we repair were made in New Zealand in the mid-century, and are often made from NZ native timbers, especially Kauri and Rimu.

Our Wooden Furniture Restoration & Repair Process

Your family heirlooms are of special importance to you, we tend them with the greatest care and artisanal skill. If your furniture or other wooden items need attention: from simple breaks or loose joints to the extensive restoration of your family heirlooms, we can return your furniture to full functionality and beauty.

Firstly, get in touch with Ron via phone or email and discuss your piece of furniture. Photos are welcome to be sent via email, and we can arrange a time to meet at your home or in our workshop to examine your item. From here, a discussion with Ron regarding the condition of your furniture item, your expectations, timeframe and cost estimate can be given. If required, we can arrange a time to collect your item or you can bring it in to us. Once complete, we can deliver to you within the North Island, or you can collect your item from our Dannevirke workshop and payment is expected within 48 hours of pickup or delivery.

We can provide a quote for your insurance company. Please Note: We do not bill insurance companies, our contract is with you, the owner of the furniture.
