Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to purchases from the RoNZ online Shop and to freight within New Zealand. Furniture repair, restoration and commissioned work are quoted separately.

Freight

There is no minimum spend for free freight on Shop items.

Free freight applies to all products in the Shop except slabs.

Rural delivery
If your address is a rural delivery (RD) address, please select the rural delivery option at checkout. An extra $10 applies.

Slabs
Macrocarpa and Matai slabs are not included in free freight. The customer must organise their own collection or freight. We can help with measurements and packing details if needed.

Urban shipping
Where a product page shows an urban shipping amount (for example Tung oil), that charge still applies as shown on the product.

Returns and refunds — wood-turned items

All our wood-turned pieces are unique, one-off items. Each is photographed and described so you can see what you are buying.

Because every piece is individual, we do not accept returns or refunds simply because you change your mind or the item does not suit your décor.

If you still send an item back in that situation, you pay the return freight. The item must come back unused, in the same condition, and securely packed.

We will replace or refund any item that:

• arrives damaged in transit, or
• differs significantly from its photograph and description.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the problem. We will sort it out promptly. If the item is damaged or not as described, we will arrange the return or replacement with you.

These terms do not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Slabs

Slabs are sold as seen. Please check the photos and measurements before buying. Because they are large, irregular pieces of timber, they are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. If a slab is not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Payment

Goods remain the property of RoNZ until payment is received in full.
