Kauri Dresser Foot – Repair Stages and Finished Result

The chipped section of the kauri dresser foot was carefully rebuilt. Fresh timber was shaped to match the original profile, then glued and blended in. The repair was sanded smooth and the colour carefully matched so the new section sits almost invisibly within the existing finish. The finished foot is once again complete, strong and consistent with the rest of the dresser.
