Description:
This bowl is made from White Ash — a plantation-grown timber that is hard, heavy, and generally plain and uniform in appearance. Ash is often used for baseball bats, tool handles and other work that needs strength.
This piece shows warm golden growth rings and a well-rounded form. A few flecks of blue resin have been used to stabilise knots, including a small mark in the base and a fine line on the side. A strong, usable bowl with just a touch of colour in the timber.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
