Description:
This bowl is made from English Oak planted on a steep slope for landscaping in Havelock North. By about 100 years of age the tree was leaning badly over the owner’s house and had to be taken down by arborists. Turned in a classic tulip-like shape, it is a well-balanced bowl for the table.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
