Description:
This bowl is made from Holly (not Hollywood) — a tough tree commonly used for landscaping and hedging. The timber comes from a Holly tree in our front lawn in Dannevirke, planted about 90 years ago. A piece of bark has been left on the rim edge, giving one side a flatter edge. Still a solid, usable bowl, with that natural feature kept as part of the design.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
