Description:
This bowl is made from Holly from a tree in our front lawn in Dannevirke, planted about 90 years ago. Red, white and blue resin have been used to fill a large natural void, giving a marbled look against the golden timber. The form is like a ginger pot, but without a lid — rounded, full-bodied, with a smaller opening at the top. A cheerful, unusual piece.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
