This bowl is made from Holly from a tree in our front lawn in Dannevirke, planted about 90 years ago. It is a shallow, open form in pale golden timber.
Bright blue resin sits in a void on the rim and runs in a thin line into the bowl, looking rather like a small reservoir that has sprung a leak. A useful dish with a bit of humour in the design.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
