This bowl is made from Macrocarpa, one of the first shelter trees planted on New Zealand farms, especially near the coast. There is just a hint of bark on the bottom edge. Turned in a classic Scandinavian style, it has a lovely curve to the inner bowl. A pleasing shape for daily use.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
