Description:
This paperweight is made from NZ Native Ancient Kauri set on a Macrocarpa base. The dark, figured Kauri dome sits in a warm honey-coloured Macrocarpa ring. Ancient Kauri is recovered timber with deep colour and strong grain; Macrocarpa is one of the first shelter trees planted on New Zealand farms. A small desk piece, meant to be looked at and used as a paperweight.
Finish: Hand-finished with Tung oil and wax.
