Description:
The wood for this platter is NZ Native Titoki, a slow-growing native tree. The timber is whitish, hard and heavy, and is sometimes called NZ Oak because of its grain pattern and the look of its leaves. Titoki leaves are evergreen, however, whereas White, Red and English Oaks are all deciduous. This shallow platter is a practical piece for everyday use as the bark is sealed.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
