This bowl is made from Red Oak that came from a residential section in Havelock North. Red Oak has a warm reddish-pink colour that is more flamboyant than White Oak. Medullary rays can be seen in the grain, giving the surface extra figure. A sturdy bowl for everyday serving.
Finish: Hand finished with Tung oil and Wax.
