Plantation-grown American White Oak is hard, heavy and generally uniform, which is why it has been used for furniture and flooring for so long. This bowl has red resin in the recess on the underside, giving a small flash of colour underneath an otherwise quiet timber. A useful bowl for the table.
Finish: Hand-finished with Tung oil and wax.
