Hand-turned Bowls & Platters

There is something special about holding and serving from hand-turned wooden bowls and platters. Whether it's holding fruit, salad or just your attention, hand-turned wooden bowls and platters are a joy to make, hold, and to use. Our bowls and platters have been taken back home to many countries as wedding gifts or as a keepsake reminders of a trip to New Zealand. They also make a distinctive gift or table piece for people living here. All our wooden bowls and platters are hand-turned by Ron, and unless stated otherwise, are finished with Tung oil and wax. They can be washed or wiped clean, then dried with tea towel after use. Never wash wooden bowls or platters in a dishwasher, nor heat them in a microwave.
